Criminogenic Needs

Sometimes recycling is not a great idea!      

Criminogenics is the study of specific needs that must be addressed in order to habilitate criminal offenders and achieve lower recidivism rates. Criminogenic studies show that offenders cycle through the current criminal justice/probation system at the rate of 70% - 90%!

The following diagram illustrates the importance of an effective cognitive restructuring program that can successfully intervene in offenders' self-defeating thoughts and behaviors.
