Sex Offender
For sex offenders, ACCI has three separate workbooks, one that focuses on pornography addiction and two that address sex offenders and their addictions. The Home Study Sex Offender Workbook (W123) was not designed for therapy, but as a powerful cognitive restructuring life skills intervention to help offenders overcome denial, justification, false perceptions, and accept responsibility. It is an excellent first-line intervention that can set the stage for additional counseling or stand on its own for lesser offenders.
The New Headings Crossing Boundaries Sex Offender Set (W107) is designed for group therapy. It consists of three components: (1) A 17-unit, 110-page instructor workbook in full color, (2) A 30-page toolkit that acts as a supplement guide for the instructor, and (3)A Student Answer Journal that can be copied and used for unlimited students. This workbook written by Dr. Sondra Shepherd, follows the true-life story of an actual sex offender who spent 10 years in prison.
