One of the major problems in youth programs is that the parents are taken out of the counseling loop. Millions of dollars is spent each year in wilderness survival and other residential treatment programs only to return the youth back home into the same environment. The major reason for so many problem youth is their parents who were negatively scripted by their parents and so on.
