Testimonials

"It gave me pointers to not let anger take control of me and also it's helped me to communicate better with my wife and others. It's opened my eyes to how I was. Now I take the time to hear others before responding (acting out). It gave me strength to want to change."

New Headings - For Groups (7)

If you are looking for evidence-based material to use within a group setting, then you will find what your looking for in this section. We also provide a training supplement (MFG) and answer guides (FWS) that are associated with each group (New Headings) course. The workbooks are divided into three levels I, II, and III. The differences are highlighted below:

LEVEL         PAGES           HOURS            COST

  I                  30                  8 - 12                 $20

  II                  58                 16 - 24                $25

 III                 108                32 - 42                $30

New Directions - Home Study (13)

Home Study has proven to be an effective method for reducing recidivism rates. Offenders go through the workbook with a "coach" of their choosing. This method is great for avoiding scheduling conflicts, expensive facilitator training, out of control group dynamics, shame or guilt which shuts down learning and growth. In the privacy of their home offenders go deeper into the material because of the existing relationships they have with their coach. This revolutionary correspondence approach is making changes in offender's home environment where change is needed the most.

New Beginnings - For Youth (6)

There are six New Beginnings youth workbooks. Four are group and two are home study. These are especially written cognitive restructuring workbooks for today's teenagers (13-18). Younger children are better served by having their parents complete the New Directions parenting course (W117). The best option, where possible, is the Youth/ Parent workbook (W134). One of the major problems with juvenile counseling is that the parents and family are not involved in the counseling loop. This workbook makes parents part of the solution for their juvenile offender.

Training Materials (7)

ACCI offers self-help training guides for all group workbooks. These training materials have been utilized with great success. We also offer free training via webinar at your convenience. Contact us for details.

Facilitator Workbook Supplements (10)

There are 10 Facilitator Workbook Supplements (FWS), one for each group workbook, seven adult (T101-T107) and four youth (T130-T133). Having the answer guides and references to the Master Facilitator Guide will ensure that you are well prepared to conduct a group course using ACCI curriculum. You will find for every group course, a corresponding FWS.
